      How to become a trader:

      STEP 1:

Assess if your product can be sold at the market?

      ✔ Proudly South African

      ✔ Produced locally

      ✔ Original

      ✔ High quality

      ✔ Professionally presented

      ✔ Value for money

      ✔ Unique

      ✔ Sell-able

      ✖ Imported products

      ✖ Reseller or agent products

      ✖ Service-based goods

      ✖ Offensive material

      ✖ Mass-produced

      ✖ Sold in chain stores

      STEP 2:

      Take note of the following:

We won’t invite you to apply if there is already a similar product sold at the market by a trader already trading at the market.

Our application process is not linked to a specific market date, we invite new traders as and when we have availability.

Our already accepted traders always get first option to trade at a market date.

        STEP 3:

Complete our Expression of Interest form — it’s non-binding and only indicates your desire to trade at the market.

While not an official application, it helps us gauge your fit. If we see potential alignment, we’ll be in touch and guide you through the next steps of applying.

        IMPORTANT NOTES:

        • Communication: Expect only an automated confirmation email upon form submission.
        • Waiting Period: If you don’t hear back within 2 weeks, consider your expression unsuccessful at that point in time (but your details will be on our database for future reference if you opted in).
        • Detail Matters: Provide as much information as possible. Sell yourself and your product!
        • Professionalism: Your form reflects your brand, so complete it thoughtfully.

Click here to access and submit form:

Once you have submitted the above form you will receive and automated response to confirm that we have received your expression of interest.

Please read this carefully to understand what to expect next as you will not necessarily hear back from us as we will ONLY be in touch if we can invite you to apply.

Thank you for your interest in the market and becoming part of our family!
